A contract signing ceremony was held for the “Consultancy Services for Pre-Feasibility Study of Monorail Alignment Integration with Mass Transit Networks in Dhaka Metropolitan Region” between the Dhaka Transport Coordination Authority (DTCA) and the Bureau of Research, Testing and Consultation (BRTC), BUET.
Under this agreement, experts from the Department of Civil Engineering, BUET, will conduct a pre-feasibility study to evaluate proposed monorail corridors and assess their seamless integration with existing and planned mass transit infrastructure across the Dhaka metropolitan area. The initiative aims to enhance urban mobility and expand high-capacity feeder transit solutions across the capital.
