Dr. Tanvir Manzur

Dr. Tanvir Manzur pursued his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) at University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) from 2007 to 2011. He received his Bachelors and Masters degree in Civil Engineering from BUET in 2003 and 2006, respectively. At present, he is working as a professor of Civil Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). In recent past, Dr. Manzur worked as a Visiting Scholar at Ryerson University (RU), Canada for about two years starting from November, 2018. He is registered as P.Eng. with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) in Canada. His active contribution in academia spans for about 18 years from 2003 to till date. Dr. Manzur has research interest on nanotechnology, cement and concrete composites, durability of reinforced concrete, structural analysis, and engineering education. In addition, he is actively involved in several consultancy projects of national importance as structural engineering consultant.
